BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS is a record label based in Japan and Taiwan, with both offices in Tokyo and Taipei.

As a leading independent label that creates a new scene for Taiwanese indie music in Japan, BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS has released more than 60 titles in Japan and Taiwan. Launched a web publication bigromanticrecords.com and a print magazine ROMANTICISM focusing on emerging Asian bands, cooperated with different media energetically, the company promotes the industry's diversity.

In 2019, BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS organized 70 concerts in Taiwan, primarily Japanese indie rock bands. With the number of shows that towers over other organizers in the industry, BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS became one of the notable groups that have influenced the indie music movement in Taiwan.

Considering concerts and tours have been hindered by the COVID-19 pandemic since 2020, BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS concentrated on new records releases in the past year, seeing a continuous increase to date. Two record flagships, BIG ROMANTIC STORE, were launched at the iconic cultural hubs Shimokitazawa, Tokyo, and Chifeng Street, Taipei, to enhance distribution. BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS also opened the other three branches in Tokyo, Hokkaido, and Tainan, including one located within the significant record shop HMV in Tokyo.

BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS builds up a unique distribution network with all these shops, which also affiliates with other independent record shops in Asia.

In recent years, the company continues to expand its business to other countries. With a vision to connect indie music worldwide, BIG ROMANTIC RECORDS now launch a new column on its website that intends to publish editorials in English.
