Mndsgn, the most popular singer/songwriter/producer in the L.A. scene and a signature artist of Stones Throw, a label representing the U.S. West Coast, will hold a one-night-only solo show in Kyoto!

　The event will be joined by Noina(YONLAPA vocalist) Solo, as well as Mndsgn band member Swarvy and a host of other special DJs.This will be Mndsgn's only performance in the Kansai area during this Japan tour!

MNDSGN / マインドデザイン -Solo Live-

Mndsgn (pronounced Mind Design), born Ringgo Ancheta, is a singer-songwriter / producer / hip-hop beatmaker based in LA. Grew up in south New Jersey raised with Gospel music at church, B-Boy culture, and his older sisters’ favorite R&B artists. He began experimenting with beat making when he was 14. Mndsgn's music flourished when he moved to Los Angeles, quickly catching the attention of Low End Theory as well as Stones Throw, who released his three albums Yawn Zen (2014), Body Wash (2016) and Rare Pleasure (2021). The latest studio album Rare Pleasure was his first live band recording album. Inspired by R&B, soundtrack music, psychedelia and jazz, Rare Pleasure features other artists; Kiefer, Swarvy, Carlos Niño, Fousheé, Devin Morrison, Anna Wise and more. In addition to his solo work, Mndsgn has produced songs for Joyce Wrice, SiR, Tyler The Creator, Danny Brown, Doja Cat, Fatima, CHAI, etc.

SWARVY -DJ set-

Raised by a music-loving family in the Philadelphia area, multi-instrumentalist producer/engineer SWARVY developed a strong love for a wide palette of sounds. While living in Los Angeles from 2014-2022, he produced a large output of solo records on labels such as Leaving Records and Fresh Selects. You may also recognize him as the touring bassist & music director for the Mndsgn touring band, "The Rare Pleasures."

Noi naa is a vocal guitarist of the indie pop band YONLAPA from Chiang Mai, Thailand. In addition to writing most of the lyrics and songs for the band, she also performs live as a solo artist, showing off her exceptional sense of melody and soft vocals.
